We offer the privacy of a free standing 3 bedroom cottage,in an intimate setting, with nothing but bushland surrounding you. No neighbours to bother you. Only the sound of the native birds and the breeze.

With 21/2 acres of beautiful Byfield rainforest, and only 2km from the local Byfield Store and a short drive to Ferns Restaurant and Nobs Creek Pottery, you will have everything you need to recharge and rejuvenate.

Each of our rooms is designed with your comfort in mind, to ensure your holiday is memorable and above all, enjoyable and relaxing.

We offer 2 queen size rooms and a twin room.

Linen is included in our tariff and continental breakfast or meal packs are also available on request.

You can relax and cook for yourself on the backyard BBQ or avail yourself of the facilities of the Byfield Store for a great "big breakfast" or the famous Byfield Ferns Restaurant which is only a short drive away.(Subject to availability)

There is a fully functional kitchen including fridge, microwave etc. if you wish to work and cook for yourself.

Ceiling fans are in every room and of course, TV and DVD player.

Byfield has many attractions to offer, while being only a short distance from all of the Capricorn Coast attractions and right in the hub of Central Queenslands Beef Capital, Rockhampton.

There are bush walks in the Byfield National parks, 4 wheel driving to local beaches, local pottery and Byfield Store and Bush Cafe, where basic provisions, fuel and takeaway food is available.

Alternatively you can be assured that you can relax and not be disturbed, while staying in Wompoo Cottage at Byfield.
