Byfields Wompoo Cottage is situated approx. 45km from Yeppoon or around 90km from Rockhampton, Central Queenslands Beef Capital, with a pleasant drive through the Byfield State forrest and Byfield National Park.

To truly appreciate this beautiful rainforest area, you must spend time here. There are so many things to enjoy, including the birdlife, beaches and bush. All so close to our backyard.

We believe that a short getaway should offer the utmost of privacy. This is provided in the Wompoo Cottage at Byfield. You cannot see any neighbours from the cottage and the surrounding bush offers a very pleasant background for relaxing and unwinding.
